Brian Naas is a Brooklyn-based guitarist, sound engineer and music instructor. He received his degree from San Francisco State University in 2004 where he studied guitar performance, composition, and electronic music.
In 2004, he released an album of sample based electronic music titled "The Sky Within the Ground" under the name Egocentric on the Berkley-based label The Foundry.
After moving to New York City in 2007, he formed the instrumental post-rock band "Birthing of Millions" which self-released their first EP in January of 2010.
He has performed Steve Reich's “Electric Counterpoint” in Carnegie Hall with the Queens Guitar Society.
Brian Naas teaches private guitar as well as home studio instruction. He joined the Brooklyn Music School faculty in 2009.
